January 30, 2006 (Regina, Saskatchewan) Business Watch International has officially launched today their new marketing web site, http://www.bwipolice.com/ in order to provide better information regarding their flagship product, BWI Police.
In March 2005, the City of Edmonton released a public tender for an automated reporting system. On March 29th, BWI received official notice that it has been chosen over other competitors due to its product leadership, security measures, and business practises.
The Lansing, Michigan PD selects the BWI Automated Reporting System to modernize the current hardcopy reporting regime in use with the local pawn shops and used goods businesses.
BWI is used by Durham region investigators to solve a rash of daytime B&E's.
All of the region's pawn shops are online, so police can check up on their goods and transactions - looking for items that might have been stolen and then pawned.
